- There isn't much to go on to find his family. He was either born in about 1865 or 1885.
- It's possible that this is the James Beasley enumerated in 1900 and 1910 in Douglas County. That James is born Oct 1861 and is married to Hannah, daughter of Catherine Polk. In 1900, they had only been married for 9 months and, in 1910, he says he has only been married one time but Catherine isn't enumerated with him.
