Hannah HARRINGTON (27 June 1804 in Saratoga Co, NY) married Charles C CALHOUN (CAHOON) about
1829 in Norwich, Chenango, NY. Hannah's parents were Waterman HARRINGTON and Felona ? both of New York. Hannah died 31
Dec 1872 in a mental institution in Blackman, Jackson Co., Michigan.
Hanna and Charles had the following children: Emeline Calhoun (1830), Hiram Calhoun (1831), Augusta Calhoun (1833), John Calhoun (1838), Charles Calhoun (1840), Frances A CALHOUN (Apr 1845), William Calhoun (1851). I suspect that Frances had HD as she died 7 Nov 1923 in a mental institution in Venita, Craig, OK.
The fact that both mother Hannah and daughter Frances died in mental institutions lead me to believe that they both had HD. Many years later (2001) Hannah's great granddaughter (my aunt) died of HD.
