My grandfather, Henry Bull b. 1871 London, died of HD. One of his sisters, Jessie also. Although people in my family were affected there is no trace in this branch any more, thankfully. I am trying to find out which of Henry's parents carried the gene. His mother was Emma Barnes or Barmes b. 1851 in Woolwich, and his father was Henry Bull b. 1847 in Wing, Bucks. It does not look as though his grandfather Robert Bull had the HD gene as he died a ripe old age, but it may have come from his grandmother, Elizabeth Dimmock of Wing, Bucks, daughter of a Loyd Dimmock.
